Be sure to enter the image critique to be held Sunday, February 6 at 6:00p.m. It will be held via Zoom and judged by three of our very own PPLA Master Photographers! The judges will give each image a numerical score and take turns with suggestions to the makers on improving their images. This will be a very informal judging with lots of comments from the judges. Whether you are looking toward image competitions or just want input on your client work, image critiques are a wonderful way to get mentor advice and grow your photography skills. Also, this is a great way to prepare for the upcoming Spring Competition to be held during Spring Seminar this March!
Each entrant may submit up to 6 images for critique by NOON Saturday, Feb. 5. Put your images into a dropbox (they have a free subscription!) and share it with Joel Treadwell at portraits@joeltreadwell.com
He will download them and use his screen sharing during the zoom competition. Give each image a title and put it in the file name. Ex: See Spot Run.JPG. Sized 4000px on the longest side including any presentation. Quality 10 JPG with embedded sRGB or RGB color space. Images will remain anonymous during the critique. NOTE *Only Joel and the Judges will have audio on for this meeting. If time allows, we will take 2 questions per entrant after the critique using the chat feature. If you have any questions on how to submit your images please contact Sherry Owens by text 318 237-5635 or Joel Treadwell at the email above.
You must register to enter or watch the critique! It is free for PPLA members and $59 for non-members.
